This incredible 5days-Tsavo Amboseli Safari is undoubtedly famous for travelers arriving in Mombasa. The three parks are located on the southern circuit of Kenya, closer to the coastline.
Tsavo East National Park is the largest park in Kenya. It has prolific birds and unique physical features, such as the world’s most significant lava flow.
On the other hand, Tsavo West, a twin park to Tsavo East, is the land of man-eaters, Lava, and Springs. Bird life here is fantastic.
In addition, the underwater hippo and fish watching is a must-visit.
Amboseli National Park is celebrated for its large population of African elephants. Located at the backdrop of Africa’s highest free-standing mountain, it is one of the MUST-see parks in Kenya. The authentic culture of the Masai people calls for a visit to mingle with them and experience their way of life.
The park offers many accommodation options, from permanent tented camps to luxury lodges inside and outside the park.
Observation Hill is one of Amboseli’s Highlights. From this point, you can see the entire park, especially the swamps and the vast herds of elephants.
Amboseli has a lot to offer besides game viewing. It’s one of the best destinations to experience a Kenya photography safari, and the beautiful scenery is fun to experience.

Meet and greet at the airport/Hotel, and a safari briefing will follow. Drive to Tsavo West National Park, famous for the Mzima Springs, with its unique underwater hippo observatory. Above all, both Tsavo East and West are renowned for the largest population of red-skinned elephants. Besides these, there is also a host of Kenyan birds and other animals. For instance, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, plains game, and crocodile. Plenty of additional small mammals, birds, and insects are found here, too. From Lake Jipe, on the Tanzanian border, to the mountain forests of the Chyulu Hills, the wide range of landscape protects many endangered African wildlife. These includes, the Cosen’s gerbil, Hunter’s hartebeest, black rhinoceros, several species of shrew and rat, Grevy’s zebra and wild dogs. Finally, lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Further drive to Amboseli National Park. The park is well known for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants. Besides wildlife, there is an opportunity to meet the Masai people and enjoy the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and the world’s free-standing mountain. Huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals roam the park, including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, and antelopes. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge/Camp. To sum up the day, have an afternoon game drive where you can spot all the above-mentioned animals—meals and overnight at the lodge.
There are both morning and afternoon game drives. The midafternoon lull from the intensive sun may be spent at the lodge/camp by the poolside or simply relaxing at the lodge. However, you have a full-day option with lunch boxes, meals, and overnight at the lodge.
Proceed to Tsavo East National Park. Tsavo means ‘Place of Slaughter’ in the Kamba language (one of the Kenyan tribes). Tsavo is recommended for photographers for its fabulous light and fantastic views. The Mudanda Rock and the Yatta Plateau are undoubtedly the world’s most extensive lava flows. In addition, Lugard Falls on the Galana River is remarkable for its water-worn rocks. All the big five may be seen roaming the park. Aruba hunter’s hartebeest, with its lyre-shaped horns, may be seen. All meals and overnight stay.
To sum up the day, go on an early morning game drive before the heat of the day sends the animals hiding. Finally, return for breakfast and drive back to Mombasa.
