Great Primates Safari is a seven-day holiday to the “Pearl of Africa,” the most welcoming and friendliest African people.

GORILLA TRACKING
The program includes a day in Bwindi to track gorillas. The cost of the gorilla permit is included in the tariff.
We can obtain these permits if you communicate with us in advance. If they are available, they must be paid immediately.
If there is a modification, we will communicate it as soon as possible.
Once requested and paid for, the gorilla permit is not refundable in case of cancellation.
VISA
A visa is needed for Uganda. A passport with a minimum validity of 6 months is required. The price is $100 (valid for one month and a single entrance). The visa is issued at the airport on arrival.
TRANSPORT
We use 4×4 minibus vehicles or Land Cruisers.

Drinks taken are at the client’s expense.
Day 01-Arrival
Welcome to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you overnight to Kampala.

Day 02 – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Leave Kampala in the morning. Stopover at the Equator, a famous spot for photography. For the rest of the journey, view the long-horned Ankole cattle, papyrus acacia woodlands, and terraced landscape of Kigezi highlands on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Lunch is en route to Mbarara at the Igongo Cultural Centre, and there is a chance to visit the Ankole cultural museum. Dinner and overnight

Day 03 – Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast and briefing from the guide, we set off for gorilla trekking in the Forest Sanctuary. The activity starts at 8.00 am. You need to carry a packed lunch, a rain jacket, and jungle boots. The rangers will provide walking sticks, and your driver will ensure you have enough drinking water. The time taken to find the gorillas depends on the movements of these marvelous primates. An encounter with an earth-shaking 350-pound silverback or baby gorilla is an unforgettable experience!

Day 04 – The tree-climbing Lions of Ishasha sector
After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector of QENP; go for a game drive in the open Savannah in search of the tree-climbing lions. These rare lions are found only in this part of the park. It’s impressive to look at them while resting on the fig trees. Lunch en route. Afternoon, proceed to the Mweya peninsula. Dinner and overnight at
Mweya safari Lodge (C), Ihamba Lodge (M), or Bush lodge (B). FB
Day 05 – The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
After a cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens’ mile tracks in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, Cape buffalo, warthogs, leopards, spotted hyenas, mongooses, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topi, and a lot of small animals and birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax by the swimming pool. After lunch, board the boat cruise for the best navigation of the Kazinga Channel, a good experience for birding, as you will see many water birds, cormorants, pelicans, eagles, crocodiles, hippos, and elephants. Transfer to Fort Portal for dinner and overnight at
Mountain of the Moon, Fort Motel (M), or Ataco Resort (B). FB
Day 06 – Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park.
Leave the park after breakfast and drive to Fort Portal. You will go for the chimpanzee and primate trekking in the forest in the afternoon. One of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Uganda is found here. Dinner and overnight at

Day 07 –Depart
Breakfast and leave. This marks the end of this great primate safari.
