Package Price Complains and Refunds

All our prices are in US$ currency, and are subject to variation if there is any increase due to government action, value added Tax, air fares ,hotel rates or any other element that makes up a safari package. Any complaints that may arise during safari MUST be communicated immediately to your tour manager in writing for on-site attention, verification and immediate action. The same can be reported to our driver (who is our representative in this matter) and is expected to forward the matter to the office at the earliest possible. Alternatively to the Lodge Camp Manager if its accommodation related. If you fail to follow this simple procedure we cannot accept responsibility as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem on site. No refunds will be made for no shows or any unused services.

Insurance /Personal Effect and Luggage

 It is entirely the responsibility of the passengers to acquire a full comprehensive insuarance cover for the whole vacation. Flying Dove Tours recommends that a passengers(s) carries a sufficient travel insuarance, in particular medical and cancellation. When traveling on certain charter flights, baggage is limited to one soft bag weighing not more than 12 kg. Flying Dove Tours accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage or personal property from whatsoever cause arising.

Visas/Health Requirements/ Passport & Travel Documents

 It is the passengers’ responsibility to ensure they possess the correct travel documents, vaccination certificates, and insurance policies. Flying Dove Tours recommends passengers / agents consult (before departure) their doctor or travel clinic for advice regarding inoculations and health precautions.

 Liability

The laws of the Republic of Kenya shall govern the relationship between Flying Dove Tours and the Operator / Travel Agent / client and the Courts of the Republic of Kenya,shall have sole jurisdiction, in respect of any claims and / or disputes of whatsoever nature, which may arise .

Security Situation In the Park and Wild Animals

Flying Dove Tours ensures excellent security for our visitors to and in the National Parks/Reserves. Passengers need to be aware that they are in wild animals’ territory while in the park and therefore dealing with wild animals. Simple rules and regulations are to be adhered to and neither our employees nor agents can be held responsible in any way whatsoever for any injury or incident while on safari.

         a) You are advised to stay in your vehicle unless at designated areas, remember to keep your doors closed at all times.

         b) View wildlife from appropriate and respectable distance. recommended minimum distance is 20meters

        c) If doing cycling safari, you are advised to stay on established roads and trails off-road driving is strictly prohibited.

       d)Keep your voices down, noises distract the wildlife normal daily routine.

      e)Respect the animal’s privacy and right of way you are in their home.

      f)Wild animals can react dangerously if startled

Special  Requests:

Any special request for Rooms,meals and any other safari component must be communicated on email at the time of safari confirmation.Whilst Flying Dove Tours will make every effort to ensure that these requests are fulfilled, kindly note they cannot be guaranteed.

Transportation:

We use either Pop up roof top Safari minivans and 4×4 Land cruisers during Kenya Safari Tours . Vehicle type is entirely based on your preference. For airport /hotels transfers, we use aircondioned vehicles such as salon cars, luxury minivans and coaches’. Air, rail, road and other departure times are at all times subject to weather conditions and traffic control restrictions. Flying Dove Tours is not responsible for any delays or inconvenience which may arise.

Financial Security

 Flying Dove Tours is a Member of Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO). Kato has a bonding scheme that covers all bona fide fully paid-up members of KATO and is designed to provide security (and therefore peace of mind) for all intending visitors and agents alike who book packaged tours (or other services) in Kenya through a KATO member.
