Day 01
Pick up early in the morning from your hotel by our driver guide, and after the safari briefing, drive to Tsavo East National Park. Tsavo means ‘Place of Slaughter’ in the Kamba language. This park is ideal for photographers with its fabulous light and fantastic views, especially the Mudanda Rock and the Yatta Plateau, the world’s largest lava flow. Lugard Falls on the Galana River are remarkable for the shape of water-worn rocks. The animals here include elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, crocodiles, waterbucks, kudus, gerenuks, and zebras. Aruba hunter’s hartebeest, with its lyre-shaped horns. Game en route to the lodge for Lunch/Camp. Afternoon game drive. Return to your hotel in the evening.
