Day 01
Morning hours: Arrival in Kigali; Meet & Greet Services, followed by airport transfer. Embark on an orientation tour of Kigali City. This includes a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre and Liberation Museum (at Parliament Buildings).
Lunch at Hotel Mille Collines. The Hotel is famous for the ‘Film Hotel Rwanda, regarding the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis.
Later, drive north to the Volcanoes National Park + overnight. 94km, 2.5hrs
Overnight on a Full-board basis:
Top-range, 5star: Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge *or, similar
Mid-range, 4star: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge *or, similar

Day 02
In the morning, enjoy the ultimate adventure—a mountain Gorilla Trek in the volcanoes’ forest. Freshen up and have lunch at the lodge, followed by check-out.
Finally, drive back to Kigali – with drop-off at Kigali International Airport, for evening outbound flight.

Rwanda Gorilla Trek Key Highlights. Kigali City Tour/Gorilla & Golden Monkeys Trek/Cultural Experience.

The Vehicle will be a Seven-seater 4×4 Toyota Safari Land Cruiser. The start place being Kigali with a return after day’s events. Lastly, meals will be as indicated on itinerary at a glance.

Program outline will be as follows;

Important Tips-Gorilla Trek safari
The Volcanoes area is located at an altitude of over 2,400 meters above sea level. It is extremely chilly in the early mornings and evenings. Therefore, warm clothing is necessary. While trekking, it can rain unexpectedly. Hence, it is necessary to have the following; water-proof clothing that is, jacket, with hood and trousers. Others include, waterproof zip-Lock bags for cameras,film,passports and money, e.t.c. Lastly, is hand Gloves which are warm and water-proof. Obviously to keep hands off from rain and dripping vegetation. Also it offers protection from stinging nettles.

On the other hand, hiking boots with good mud-grip are most appropriate, especially in wet weather. Gaiters also help to protect your trek trouser legs and boots against mud or wetness. In addition, any valuables which are carried on the person and not necessary during the trek, may be left with your driver-guide for safe-keeping.

Day 01
First, at morning hours you will arrive at Kigali Rwanda. There will be a Meet & Greet Services, followed by airport transfer.
Then, embark on orientation tour of Kigali City. Among the package will be a visit of the Genocide Memorial Centre & Liberation Museum which is at the Parliament Buidings.
Later will be lunch at Hotel Mille Collines (of the ‘Film Hotel Ruanda, in regard to the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsis).
The afternoon drive north will lead to the Volcanoes National Park and an overnight. 94km, 2.5hrs.
Overnight on Full-board basis:
Overnights will be spent at Top-range, 5star that is, Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge. Similarly, will be a Mid-range, 4 star; Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 02
There will be a morning ultimate adventure to Mountain Gorilla Trek in the volcanoes forest. Later, freshen-up and lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, at leisure,there will be opportunity for optional activity, such as; Cultural Village Visit,Twin Lakes Visit as well as the Local Market-Town visit.
Finally, at the evening there will be leisure at your lodge. Dinner will be included.
Overnight on Full-board basis:
Overnights will be spent at Top-range, 5star that is, Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge.  Similarly, will be a Mid-range, 4 star; Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 03
First, the morning startup will be the Golden Monkeys Trek – trekking the only other member of the primate species resident in the volcanoes forest.
Then, Freshen-up and lunch at the lodge. Followed by lodge check-out.
Later that afternoon you will drive back to Kigali. There will be drop-off at Kigali International Airport, for evening outbound flight.
Finally, the three days’ tour will end at this point.
