Day 01
Pick up in the morning from your hotel by our driver guide after safari briefing and proceed towards the floor of the Rift Valley, stopping to marvel at the views of the escarpment along the way. Leave and drive to Lake Naivasha, and proceed to Hell’s Gate, which has special locations to view, including Fischer’s Tower, formerly a volcano’s plug, the Central Tower, and Njorowa Gorge. Two extinct volcanoes, Olkaria and Hobley’s, are worth a trip. Natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock. Obsidian, a striking black glassy rock formed from cooled molten lava, is a feature of this landscape. A haven for ornithologists and rock climbers. Lunch followed by a visit to the Lake, (Boat ride at an extra fee). Drive back to Nairobi and either transfer to the Hotel or the Airport.
