The land of the 7th wonder of the world, the Masai Mara reserve, is a must-see. Mara has a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. The reserve boosts the concentration of the richest animals, including all the big five and other animals, with the largest number of African lions. In addition, Masai warriors share the same plains with hunting cats as they look after their livestock here. Above all, the great Wildebeest migration occurs from July through October here.
Enjoy the rich culture of the Maa community. Join women in bead work, warrior training, fire making, and more. Spend part of the day in the Manyatta as you learn their way of life.
Our representative will meet you on arrival, brief you, and drive you to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Our destination is Sweetwaters Tented Camp, a sheltered oasis, clustered around a waterhole and set in the pristine calm of its private reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, leave for an afternoon game drive in the private 110,000-acre ranch, also widely known as the site of Jane Goodall’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Animals found here are mainly the big game, including giraffe, zebra, buffalo, elephant, Oryx, and eland—dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Leave for Aberdares National Park, where on arrival lunch will be served at the Aberdare Safari Club base hotel for the Ark. The Ark, located in thick woodland at the heart of this Park, is a Tree hotel uniquely shaped to resemble Noah’s Ark, with a deck from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage viewing points. After lunch, proceed to the Ark for game viewing from your balconies. These balconies and lunges offer great views of animals visiting the salt lick and waterhole. You may see African elephants, lions, rhinos, black leopards, and the elusive bongo antelope by luck—dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Proceed to Lake Nakuru, famous for its stunning flocks of the lesser flamingoes, which turn the lake pink—lunch en route, arriving for an afternoon game drive. Animals expected to be seen include: Thompson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, the rare long-eared leaf-nosed bat, Columbus monkey, Rock Hyrax, Hippo, Leopard, Lion, Rhino, Waterbuck, Impala, Gazelle, Stripped Hyena, Bat-eared fox, Wild cat, Reedbuck, and Golden cat. Re-stocked mammals include: Lion, Black and white Rhino, and the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe, to mention a few. Return to your town hotel for dinner and overnight.

Leave for the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, considered a “must-see” for any visitor traveling on safari in Kenya, because a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds grace it. It’s home to the richest concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five. Zebras, antelopes, gnus, Oribis, hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and others are well represented. The park has the largest concentration of African lions, including the black-maned lion. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The Masai Mara Ecosystem has one of the highest lion densities in the world, and it is where two million Wildebeest, Zebra, and Thompson’s gazelles migrate annually.
