What to Expect
Lake Bogoria
This lake is referred to as “The healing place” and is just about 3 hours drive from Lake Nakuru. It is home to one of the largest populations of the lesser flamingoes. The lake is geothermically active on the western shore, with geysers and hot springs. Sulphur water gushes out of the ground and it is known to have therapeutic value. The hot springs are natural spas and steam baths. The hot spring water geysers are extremely hot – the gushing out water is at boiling point and visitors are forewarned to be Careful. The reserve has a herd of the relatively uncommon Greater Kudu. Other large mammals include buffalo, zebra, cheetah, baboon, warthog, caracal, spotted hyena, impala and dik dik.
Samburu Game Reserve
Wildlife Includes: Elephant, cheetah, reticulated giraffe, oryx, gerenuk, vervet monkey, zebra, buffalo and crocodile.
Birds: Over 380 species have been recorded on the wilderness trails.
Aberdares
Among the picture squire and unique attractions in Aberdares includes; the dragon teeth which is Vocanic and rock formation. An old Fig tree with a cleft in its hole was used by Mau Mau (freedom fighters as mail box is clearly visible at the heart of this park. Aberdares National Park is located 180Km from Nairobi gazetted in 1950 with an area of 767sq KM. Animals found here includes; leopard, serval, mountain bongo, antelops, elephants, black colubus monkey, warthog bushbuck among others.
Lake Nakuru
“A beautiful wildlife haven”
On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Naivasha & Hells Gate

Named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries, the Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. Amboseli National Park
“Home of the African Elephant”
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
Tsavo West National Park
From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands. Belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Tsavo East National Park
“Theatre of the Wild”
The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomter long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Day 01

Day 02
Breakfast and drive to ,Samburu Game Reserve. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator this includes reticulated giraffe,Grevy’s zebras and Beisa Oryxes.Arrive for lunch .Afternoon game drive in search of the elusive Leopard, Lion, Elephant, long necked graceful gerenuk, Grevys Zebra, reticulated Giraffe, Oryx and other plains game. Day 03

Day 04
Leave for Aberdares national park where on arrival lunch will be served at the Aberdare Safari Club base hotel for the Ark. The Ark located in thick woodland at the heart of this Park is known as a Tree hotel which is uniquely shaped to resemble Noah’s Ark, with deck from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage viewing points. After lunch you will be driven by the lodge vehicles to the Ark for game viewing from your balconies.These balconies and lunges provide superb views of animals visiting the salt-lick and waterhole.. Many animals can be seen here including African elephants, lions, rhinos, black leopard and the elusive bongo antelope.Dinner and overnight at the lodge.Lodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 05
Leave for Lake Nakuru one of the Rift Valley Soda Lakes. its stunning flocks of the lesser flamingoes is brilliant as it turns the lake pink .Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive will follow where animals expected to be seen Includes Thompson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, the rare long eared leaf-nosed bat, Columbus monkey, Rock Hyrax, Hippo, Leopard, Lion, Rhino, Waterbuck, Impala, Gazelle, Stripped Hyena, Bat eared fox, Wild cat, Reedbuck and Golden cat. Re-stocked mammals include; Lion, Black and white Rhino and the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe just to mention but a few .Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.Lodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 06
After breakfast you will proceed to Lake Bogoria for a full day trip.The lake is the heart of an arid landscape, in the shadow of the dramatic walls of the Siracho Range. Being a Soda lake just like Lake Nakuru ,it attracts massive flocks of Flamingoes. The western shore of the lake is lined with spouting geysers,spurting stream and bubbling geothermal pools.Fresh water springs at the Lake edge attract an abundance of birds and wildlife.The shores are always lined with Gazelles, Zebras, Baboon and Greater Kudu. This lake is also famous for the hot springs and geysers which spout and steam.We will be able to explore on foot but caution must be taken while walking near the hot springs.After lunch proceed back to Lake Nakuru in time for evening gamedrive and overnight at the lodge.Lodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 07
Proceed to the world famous Masai Mara game Reserve considered a “must see” for any visitor traveling on safari in Kenya reason because it’s graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wild life and birds. Its home to the richest concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five.Zebras, antelope, gnus, Oribis, hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hippos, crocodiles and others are well represented.The park has the largest concentration of African lions, including the black-maned lion. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge which will be followed by afternoon gamedrive where you will expect to see the above named animals’ .Returning for dinner and overnight at the lodge.Lodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 08
The Maasai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion density in the whole world and its where two million Wildebeest, Zebra and Thompsons gazelles migrate annually.During our day of morning and afternoon game drives we may view prides of lions, hippos in the river, cheetahs racing across the plains and many varieties of antelopes. Day 09
Leave and drive to Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch and check in .Later depart for a visit to Hell’s gate special locations to view include Fischer’s Tower, formerly a volcano’s plug, the Central Tower and Njorowa Gorges. Two extinct volcanoes: Olkaria and Hobley’s are worth a trip. Natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock. Obsidian, a striking black glassy rock formed from cooled molten lava is a feature of this landscape. A haven for ornithologists and rock climbers. Day 10
Head further down to Amboseli National park.The park well known for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants.Other attractions of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and Stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and the highest free-standing mountain in the world as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope.Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge .Afternoon gamedrive will follow where you may get a chance to spot all the above mentioned animals .Meals and overnight at the lodgeLodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 11
Both morning and afternoon gamedrive. The mid afternoon lull from the intensive sun is spent at the lodge by poolside or simply relaxing at the lodge .Meals and overnight at the lodge.Lodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 12
Drive to Tsavo West National Park famous for the Mzima Springs, with its unique underwater hippo observatory. Both Tsavo East and west are famous for the largest population of red-skinned elephants.The “Big 5” African animals are well represented . There is also a host of Kenyan birds and other animals including leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, plains game, crocodile, and plenty of additional small mammals, birds and insects. From Lake Jipe, on the Tanzanian border, to the mountain forests of the Chyulu Hills, the wide range of landscape offers protection to many endangered African wildlife including the Cosen’s gerbil, Hunter’s hartebeest, black rhinoceros, several species of shrew and rat, Grevy’s zebra and wild dogs .Arrive for lunch and afternoon gamedrive .Dinner and overnight at the lodge.Lodge/Camp(L.D.B)
Day 13
After breakfast drive to Tsavo East National Park .Tsavo means ‘Place of Slaughter’ in kamba language (one of the Kenyan tribes).This park is recommended for photographers with its fabulous light and fantastic views, especially the Mudanda Rock and the Yatta Plateau, the world’s largest lava flow. Lugard Falls on the Galana River are remarkable for the shaped water-worn rocks.Among the animals that can be spotted here includes elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, crocodile, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk and zebra. Day 14
After breakfast leave for Nairobi. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.Included
